Miami Knife Guy uses privacy-friendly analytics to understand page visits and service-request actions. This information helps improve the website and make the service flow easier to use.
Aggregate website analytics
The site may measure aggregate actions such as booking clicks, phone taps, review-link clicks, referral visits, and prepared request messages. These measurements are used to understand which pages and service paths are useful.
Information excluded from analytics
The analytics setup is designed not to collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, restaurant names, neighborhoods, message text, selected photos, form-field values, or referral codes. Information you submit to the sharpening assistant is handled separately as described below.
Service requests
When you intentionally submit a public request form, the contact and service details you entered are saved to the private MKG Growth Engine so Sean can respond. The site also prepares a text message or device share action as a direct-contact backup.
Sharpening assistant and photos
Messages and photos you submit through the sharpening assistant may be sent to an AI service to answer questions and prepare estimates. Chat text, the assistant's response, and basic photo metadata may be saved to the private CRM; raw selected photo files are not copied into Firestore CRM storage. Do not upload identification, payment information, medical records, or unrelated personal material. Photo assessments and chatbot pricing are estimates; Sean confirms the work and final price.
Scheduling texts
If you request a service window and consent to texts, Miami Knife Guy saves your name, mobile number, service address when pickup is requested, timing preference, request summary, and consent choice in the private CRM to coordinate availability. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of automated service texts.
