What does knife sharpening pickup cost in Miami?
Pickup and return cost $1 per total driven mile, for any number of knives. Sharpening and repairs are priced separately by the work. Sean confirms route mileage and the travel charge before scheduling.
How is the travel charge calculated?
Add the miles driven for the complete pickup and return route, then multiply by $1. For an illustrative 18-mile total route, the travel charge would be $18. This is an example, not a quote for a specific address. The confirmed route may differ.
Does the knife count change that rate?
No. The published travel rate applies across any knife count. The number, type, and condition of knives affect the sharpening or repair quote, not the $1-per-mile travel rule.
Can I avoid a travel charge?
Shop drop-off is the leanest handoff for local home knives. If pickup and return are more convenient, request them on the local service form and provide your location. Sean will confirm whether the route and timing work.
What information should I send?
Share your city or address, knife count, blade types, visible damage, and timing. Photos can help with unusual work; the final quote depends on inspection. If you are outside the local area, start a mail-in request before shipping.
